  • Introduction to the Cnidaria, Jellyfish, corals, and other stingers. . . in-depth and technical, with some pictures, on everything from fossil records to morphology. I must for information on corals.

  • A sea world education department resource. Information aimed at education, mainly as a resource for teachers, derived, it seems, from a pamphlet. A comprehensive but simplistic description of coral reefs to the corals themselves, although it does give descriptions of Phylum Cnidaria, its classes, subclasses, and orders.

  • Eathwatch is an organization engaged in environmental research and preservation. This particular page contains links to information on a selection of coral reef environments that are threatened around the world.

    Information on the Stephen Birch Aquarium-Museum located in San Diego. This site includes information of the history of the aquarium, membership and admission information, activities, and descriptions of rooms and areas with the aquarium.

  • Ocean Planet Homepage
    Ocean Planet is an exhibition which opened at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History, and is going to start its national tour in late '96. This site also offers an interactive view of the exhibition with plenty of pictures and details.
